Sondine is built on a simple principle: your voice is sensitive data. This policy explains how we handle — or rather, don't handle — your information.

Sondine processes everything locally on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your audio recordings
• Your transcripts or conversation data
• Your personal information (name, email, IP address)
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Device identifiers or fingerprints

All AI models used for transcription and organization run entirely on your device. No audio or text is sent to external servers for processing. The App works fully offline.

Transcripts and metadata are stored in a local SQLite database on your Mac. Sensitive configuration is stored in your macOS Keychain. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time.

Sondine does not require an account, email address, or any form of registration to use. There is no login, no user profile, and no authentication system.

If you voluntarily submit your email through our waitlist or contact form on the website, we store it solely to communicate with you about Sondine. We do not share it with third parties.

Any future cloud-based features (such as device sync) will be strictly opt-in. We will update this policy before launching any feature that involves data leaving your device, and you will always have the choice to keep everything local.

The desktop App does not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Sondine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website. Since we don't collect your contact information through the App, we encourage you to check this page periodically.
